Delete your account

Delete it yourself (fastest)

1. Sign in to the app or at overtheroad.ai.
2. Go to More › Settings and scroll to the bottom.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account is deleted right away and it can't be undone. Any paid plan on it is canceled at the same moment, so you won't be billed again. Canceling doesn't refund time you already paid for.

Can't sign in? Ask us

Email privacy@overtheroad.ai from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my OverTheRoad.AI account". We may ask you to confirm it's you. Once we have, we delete the account right away (and cancel any paid plan) and email you when it's done.

What is deleted

• Your profile: name, email, phone, company details, DOT/MC numbers
• Loads, invoices, expenses, documents and their files, messages and notes
• Saved vehicles, trips, location history and settings
• Connections to other services (bank, email, ELD) are disconnected

If you're on a fleet account

• Company records you created for a fleet (loads, invoices, expenses, company documents) stay with the fleet owner. They are not deleted.
• Your own pay summaries, miles, CDL and medical card records are yours and are deleted with your account.
• If you own a fleet account with active members, remove them first. Then you can delete your account.

What is kept

• De-identified copies of some records, with your name, contact details, account, documents, notes and exact dates removed — for example lane rates, broker payment timing, facility wait times, fuel prices and operating costs per mile. They're kept in a form that isn't reasonably linkable to you or your business. We don't try to re-identify them, and anyone we share them with must agree not to try. We may use them to improve the service and in combined data products; anything we share outside the service combines data from at least 3 carriers.
• Fleet company records you created on someone else's fleet account (see above)
• Payment and tax records we're required to keep by law, held by us or our payment processor
• Reviews or map reports you posted stay up without your name, with email addresses, phone numbers and your name removed from the text
• A short record that your account was deleted (the day and counts only — no personal details), to show we did it

Want a copy of your data first? Use More › Export ("Download your data") before you delete — after deletion it can't be recovered.
